Easy, like Sunday morning !

After a full day yesterday preparing the house, and food, for our visitors from the North, I slept in until 8 am !! Woo-wee !! Truthfully though, we had a 2 hour nap after our visitors left at 7 pm. So, I probably didn't fall asleep until 12:30, if you want me to be truthful....and I hope you do ! 😹 This morning before I even went downstairs, I hung the clothes I washed Sat night, on the wooden "clothes dryer" , first chore of the day done ! Fed the cats, took the dog outside...cleaned off the swing so I could sit in the morning sun while Jewel rolled in the grass ( her favorite thing to do ). I caught up on my Facebooking, and then Joe came out and joined me. We talked about our plans for the day & disgussed what to have for breakfast....and then got that going. I made a Vanilla Bundt cake while he cooked breakfast. Now that I've scooped the 5 litter boxes and vacuumed...I'll head to Lowes to get some plants for the porch & flower containers 🌸🌸. ...

Let's try this again ?

After much encouragement from my friend Vicky....I'm going to dip my toes in the waters of Blogland again ! Here we go ! My intent for this blog is a more in depth sharing of my life than Facebook or Instagram allows. Expect lots of words, and hopefully, lots of photos. Once I figure out how this all works ! So, I'll start this off by saying that today will be filled with some errands, breakfast out at one of my favorite breakfast joints, Kitty & dog cuddling, frantic cleaning ( we're having out of town guests on Sat for a short visit ), and if I get a few minutes tonight, some photo editing ! Also, I've started a new book by a new ( to me ) author, and I'm looking forward to immersing myself in her world...for a few minutes anyway ! Slainte' my friends ! QoC. 😺

Happy Friday !!

Well, I am glad to have made it to the end of the week, after having two weeks were I only worked a day or two each week, this full work week has been tough !! I'm glad it's almost over. Another full week next week, and then a holiday the following week !! I am going to enjoy it as much as I can since the Macomb County Board of Commissioners is trying to steal half of our holidays away from us, the bastards !! Seems they feel it's perfectly ok to make up THEIR shortages by taking jobs, benifits and health care away from the workers. They won't give up their company cars though.....typical dirty politicans !!! I dropped Velvet off at the vets this morning, he was scared, he had no idea of what was going on, and since Pearl wasn't with him he was just lost. They do just about everything together, two little peas in a pod ! Hopefully after his neuter he'll be a little less manic :).....that's what Ti Gra is hoping for, he just terrorizes her.
